One Million Immigrants Wanted to Move to Canada by 2021

The Canadian Parliament has reported a goal to welcome over one million permanent residents by 2021, in addition to the 286,000 in 2017. The Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship reported, “Immigrants and their descendants have made immeasurable contributions to Canada, and our future success depends on continuing to ensure they are welcomed and well-integrated.”
